Queen Elizabeth National Park
Uganda’s second-largest national park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, is the most diverse and popular conservation area, set against the stunning backdrop of the Rift Valley floor. Surrounded by lakes and the majestic Rwenzori Mountains, the park features a variety of ecosystems, including grasslands, acacia woodlands, forests, wetlands, and open waters. It is home to 95 mammal species, including the spectacular tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector, as well as an impressive array of birdlife.
