Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest savannah national park in Uganda, may be compact, but it offers an abundance of experiences! Nestled between Kampala/Entebbe and the western circuit conservation areas, this park features a captivating series of swamp-fringed lakes teeming with rich birdlife. The lush acacia woodlands are home to diverse wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, warthogs, elands, and impalas. The lake itself is a haven for schools of hippos and crocodiles!
Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including guided boat trips, day and night game drives, guided salt lick and forest walks, horse riding, cycling through the park and nearby communities, and birdwatching. Lake Mburo National Park is an ideal destination for guests with fixed budgets and schedules, as trips can be customized from excursions to tours based on individual interests. A wide range of accommodation options is available, and both air and road transport are easily accessible.
