Day 1: Meet & greet at the hotel/Entebbe international Airport - transfer to Kibale National Park

Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel, where your Kibale National Park safari begins. Our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with seamless arrival formalities. You will then transfer west through lush plantations and verdant traditional homesteads to the park. If time allows, you may choose to try optional activities, such as a tea experience, a Bigodi swamp walk, or a crater walk, at your own expense.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking – RETURN

After breakfast at your lodge, you will transfer to the starting point of your chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of its 13 species is the chimpanzee, our closest relative, with Kibale hosting 1,450 of these endangered primates, representing Uganda’s largest population.

Kibale is also home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, along with other primates such as the black-and-white colobus, blue monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, and olive baboon, to name a few. You will enjoy a guided nature walk through the tropical rainforest in search of wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and many others. Afterward, you will transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala.
