Day 1: Meet & Greet at the Hotel/Entebbe International Airport – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will assist you with seamless arrival formalities. Your Murchison Falls National Wildlife Safari begins here. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and premier conservation area, home to over 70% of the world’s remaining Rothschild giraffe population.
Overnight: Paraa Safari Lodge/Sambiya River Lodge/Pakuba Safari Lodge/Fort Murchison
Meal Plan: Full Board
Day 2: Morning Guided Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls – Drive to the Top of the Falls
Today, we will explore Uganda’s largest conservation area with a morning guided game drive starting at 5:00 AM. We will traverse the northern bank of the River Nile, the main tourism hub, in an open-roof vehicle, providing excellent opportunities to view and photograph diverse wildlife, open savannah wilderness, and various bird species. Your guide will help you spot elephants, lions, cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribis, bushbucks, bohor reedbucks, hyenas, and, if you are lucky, leopards.
After lunch, enjoy a stunning three-hour sunset boat cruise upstream along the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls, stopping just a few meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron.” Marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles, and along the 17-kilometer stretch, you may see elephants, waterbucks, and Uganda Kobs. This area is also home to many bird species, including the goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican, bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant, and the rare shoebill stork.

Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe/Kampala via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking
After breakfast, we will drive to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting opportunity to trek rhinos. The sanctuary is home to 15 rhinos that were reintroduced after their extinction in the 1970s due to poaching, and they have since multiplied. A local ranger guide will lead you on foot for an up-close encounter with the rhinos, which may take about an hour and a half. After the trek, you will enjoy lunch at a selected restaurant before proceeding to Entebbe or Kampala.
